AWS re:Invent – our most transformative tech event – is right around the corner. For 10 years, the global cloud community has come together at re:Invent in Las Vegas to meet, get inspired, and rethink what’s possible. I will be leading a one-hour session entitled “Partnering to capitalize on public sector innovation” at 11 a.m. PT, on Tuesday, November 29, at Caesars Forum (Forum 113). Here’s why you should join me.
1. Hear from the Harvard Medical School and the National Resident Matching Program.
As one of the leading research and medical institutions in the world, the Harvard Medical School has a fascinating story of digital transformation. Dr. Paul Avillach, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Harvard Medical School, will share how AWS partners stackArmor and Emagine IT helped create a secure environment for the institution to drive cutting edge research in human health. Join me while we explore what technological challenges the Harvard Medical School had and how it overcame those on AWS.
The National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), also known as “The Match,” is celebrating its 70th anniversary of placing medical school students into residency training programs located in United States teaching hospitals. Nicole Nitowski, Chief Information Officer at NRMP, will highlight how the nonprofit teamed up with AWS partner Pariveda to modernize and increase the long-term viability of their matching services. NRMP has not only achieved their digital transformation goals, but is also working on another innovative project.
2. Learn about the latest AWS partner programs and offerings.
The AWS Partner Network celebrated 10 years this year by launching new tools and mechanisms in service to our customers and partners. In my breakout session, I will highlight some of our most exciting updates from the past year and discuss how partners can use features and tools to help customers accelerate their digital transformation. From smart city to containers to startups, you’ll learn about all the latest and useful AWS offerings for public sector customers and partners.
3. Connect with customers and partners from around the world.
Economies of networking is just as important as economies of scale. Public sector customers from all paths on their cloud journey can connect with partners to guide them through their innovation and growth. Partners will be able to hear directly from customers on their digital challenges and be inspired by incredible digital transformation stories. This is where the cloud community can look to the future together.
Reserve your seats today here. Look forward to seeing you at re:Invent!
