Recognition honors federal technology leaders driving innovation, mission impact, and community advancement.

stackArmor, a Tyto Athene company, is proud to announce that Johann Dettweiler, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), has been named a 2025 FORUM IT100 Award recipient. The FORUM IT100 recognizes dynamic leaders who drive change and advancement across government and federal technology through cutting-edge ideas, inspired innovation, and a commitment to giving back to the broader Federal IT consulting community.

As CISO of stackArmor, Johann leads next-generation cybersecurity and compliance initiatives across the public sector, helping federal agencies accelerate secure cloud adoption, reduce cyber risk, and meet mission demands faster. In support of customers including the Department of Education, GSA, the Department of Transportation, NIH, and others, Johann helped reduce the time and cost of achieving an Authority to Operate (ATO) by 40 percent, streamlining compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and CMMC requirements.

Johann is widely recognized for pioneering technical and policy-first innovation in federal compliance. He led the first FedRAMP 20x pilot submission validated by a 3PAO using query-based compliance evidence, advanced DoD Zero Trust overlays natively within stackArmor’s The Armory® platform, and championed AI governance aligned with NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework—challenging outdated compliance models while remaining firmly mission-focused.

“Johann’s passion for innovation and his ability to lead by example have transformed how agencies approach cybersecurity and compliance,” GP Pal, CEO, stackArmor has said. “He remains deeply technical, designing compliance-as-code frameworks and automating continuous monitoring in ways that materially reduce operational burden while strengthening security outcomes. His leadership has helped equip the public sector to better protect sensitive data and adapt to evolving federal mandates.”

In addition to his technical leadership, Johann is a trusted mentor and collaborator across the federal technology ecosystem, consistently sharing expertise to advance secure, scalable cloud adoption. His recognition by FORUM underscores stackArmor’s commitment to delivering innovative, mission-ready cybersecurity solutions that enable government agencies to move faster—without compromising security or compliance.
