RESTON, Va., — stackArmor, a Quantum Sky company, today announced that the U.S. Capitol Police has issued a FedRAMP High authorization for Armory SecOps. The authorization expands The Armory’s federal footprint and strengthens stackArmor’s ability to deliver security operations capabilities for organizations handling high-impact workloads.
The authorization, now reflected in the FedRAMP Marketplace, represents the latest federal authorization for The Armory and demonstrates continued adoption of the platform for high-impact federal workloads.
“The U.S. Capitol Police authorization is an important validation of the work our teams are doing to deliver secure, operationally proven capabilities for federal customers,” said Andrew Boyd, chief executive officer of Quantum Sky. “Armory SecOps is not simply an authorized environment — it is a functioning security operations capability that we are using within Quantum Sky today. That gives agencies and mission partners an efficient, accelerated path to adopt a FedRAMP High security operations capability without having to build the full operating model from the ground up.”
Armory SecOps provides a security operations capability within The Armory’s FedRAMP High-authorized environment, supporting continuous monitoring, threat detection, security visibility and operational response for organizations with stringent federal security requirements. Armory SecOps is among a limited number of SOC/SIEM offerings available at the FedRAMP High level.
Quantum Sky has also successfully migrated its internal Security Operations Center to Armory SecOps, establishing a production deployment of the capability within the company’s own security operations environment in compliance with CMMC and other regulatory requirements. The deployment provides an operational foundation for offering the service to federal agencies, government contractors, and members of the Defense Industrial Base.
“I am excited to see the continued evolution of The Armory platform, which now includes a modern, intelligent security operations capability for threat identification and rapid response,” said Gaurav “GP” Pal, senior vice president, Solution Delivery Centers at Quantum Sky. “By combining the FedRAMP High Armory platform with Quantum Sky’s team of proven cybersecurity operations professionals, we are able to deliver a fully managed commercial security operations offering to help our federal partners maintain an enhanced cyber posture in a cost-efficient manner.”
The Armory is a purpose-built General Support System offering built on Google Cloud that integrates cloud infrastructure, security operations, compliance workflows, vulnerability management, documentation support and continuous monitoring. Organizations can inherit applicable controls and use a common authorization framework rather than building and documenting each element of a compliant environment independently. This approach is designed to reduce the time, cost and operational burden associated with bringing commercial technologies into federal environments.
