Accounting Analyst

We are looking for Security Analyst to join our team of cloud, security, and compliance experts. This role requires experience with ensuring the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of AWS-based applications and systems.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting/bookkeeping tasks including A/R, A/P, timesheet management, expense processing, project financial reporting, and account reconciliation; identify discrepancies and work directly with various parties to resolve issues.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Monthly Invoicing
• Collect project status for invoicing.
• Collect number of resource hours for invoicing.
• Collect AWS VAR charges for invoicing.
• Create Invoices based on Customer type and type of charges.
• AR,
• Reconcile received payments with against invoices.
• Send timely Past Due notices
• AP –
• Manage AWS invoices per project for payment.
• Send AWS Charges and Credits invoice payment advise to management.
• Perform AWS charges analysis.
• Project Financial Analysis
• Track project budgets, resource hours, and project costs.
• Report project tracking reports
• Improve accounting operations by revising processes, procedures, and reports.

Qualifications Required

• Two-year degree in finance/accounting.
• Hands-on experience with bookkeeping software (esp., QuickBooks)
• Strong understanding of MS Excel formulas and pivot tables
• Ability to navigate through Smartsheet for sharing data, dashboards, and reports
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and resolve issues to complete work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
